Peter Maksimow was once a professional trail runner who helped the U.S. win a silver medal at the 2015 World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships in Zermatt, Switzerland. Now he’s a professional photographer based in Manitou Springs, Colorado, who takes epic images of some of the world’s most iconic races.
