Because I can. When you've experienced a time when you can't, that's the only reason you need.

My favorite trail to run

Singletrack in the Valais region of Switzerland, deep in the Sierra, or high in the Himalaya. All of them.

What I hope to convey with my writing

Kim is part of the PatitucciPhoto team as a writer, photographer, athlete, and model.

Her feature stories have appeared in Patagonia's The Cleanest Line, Runner's World, Trail Runner, and many other outdoor magazines and blogs.

Collaborating with PatitucciPhoto, she co-founded both ALPSinsight: The Alps Mountain Sport & Running Resource and the Via Valais, a multi-stage trail running tour through the Swiss Alps.

She is co-author of the trail running guidebooks, Run the Alps Switzerland, and Sierra Trail Runs, and works with the trail running tour operator Run the Alps.
