Join UltraSignup’s Kim Haven as she heads to Leavenworth Trail Fest in Leavenworth, Washington—a German-themed mountain town tucked into the eastern side of the Cascades, known as “Little Bavaria.” From alpenhorns at the start line to flowy singletrack, alpine ridgelines, and sweeping Cascade views, Leavenworth Trail Fest is more than a race. It’s a full-on Bavarian-style trail festival built by runners, for runners. In this video:

About Leavenworth Trail Fest:

Held in late May, Leavenworth Trail Fest is a one-day trail running festival put on by Mountain Running Races at the base of the Leavenworth Ski Hill Area. With the Ski Hill 50k, the Skyline 25k (a Vert Running Series race with Elite, Sport, and Masters divisions), the Town 5k, and a kids race, there’s a distance for everyone. The courses showcase the ridgelines north of town—meaningful vert, runnable flowy terrain, and views from alpine ridges down to the dry Eastern Cascades landscape.

If you love mountain running, small-town charm, and post-race bratwurst-and-kombucha vibes, this event is for you.
